November 29, 2019Students from Partap World School Pathankot attended the Winter Training Camp in Amritsar by Japan Karate Association of India.
National/International Coaches shared the tips and tricks with young children.
The Japan Karate Association of India was setup with the objective of propogation of Shotokan Karate in India as taught by the Japan Karate Association so as to bring about a standardization in the Shotokan style in the country and simultaenously through the martial art of karate-do establish closer links culturally and socially with the people of Japan.
A very important aspect of Karate-do training is the development of character so that the Karate player can surmount any obstacle tangible or intangible. Hard training helps the karateka train the mind to overcome mental obstacles like fear, anger, excitement etc. Simultaneously, it also develops the physique of the trainee such that physical obstacles can be overcome with the help of karate training.
The Japan Karate Association of India is a member of the Japan Karate Association World Federation and it’s continental body the JKA Asia Oceania Federation.
In India the Japan Karate Association of India is affiliated with the All India Karate-do Federation.
