Partap World School, Pathankot and Indora Management officials are all set to attend the Prestigious Beating Retreat Ceremony in New Delhi.
Beating Retreat Ceremony is held on January 29 – two days after the Republic Day ceremony – at Vijay Chowk in New Delhi. Beating Retreat is a decades-old practice in which ‘Abide With Me’ is played to mark the end of Republic Day celebration.
The chief guest of the function is the President of India who arrives escorted by the President’s Bodyguard (PBG).
Looking forward to meet Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, India’s First Chief Of Defence Staff, Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS) and Chief of the Air Staff (CAS) and various eminent personalities across the nation.
The bands of the three wings of the military, the Indian Army, Indian Navy and Indian Air Force will also showcase their respective bands.
